What is process traceability

Process traceability shows information on who forwarded a document to a state through the different transitions and when.

Each document has its own separate traceability record even if it belongs to the same category as it can be forward to the different states by different users on different dates.

How to view document traceability

Document traceability can be viewed from the process map window. Clicking on the cog next to the process bar will open the document's process map.



The process map window will only show  the last state since the last forward transition so if one document were to pass through the same transition several times, only the last person to forward the document and the forwarding date would be shown.


To consult the history of changes in state of the document you will need to go to the properties and history window.
